Young Scientists Program / October 05, 2021 - October 08, 2021
Promotion of young talents along the 4Ds
The Fraunhofer Cluster of Excellence Immune-Mediated Diseases CIMD aims to facilitate and simplify education along the 4Ds (Drugs, Diagnostics, Data, Devices) by supporting young scientists. Cooperation between different disciplines is to be encouraged - a prerequisite for the implementation of 4Ds. In addition to various workshops along the 4Ds, the cluster is planning a winter school in Leipzig, which is aimed primarily at doctoral students, young postdocs and project collaborators of the Fraunhofer CIMD.
Content and aims:
Practice-oriented research and development activities of industrial partners and Fraunhofer researchers along the 4Ds. Networking of junior staff among each other and with partners from industry and research. Promotion of interdisciplinary cooperation with the Fraunhofer CIMD.
Please note: All participants are expected to make an active contribution to their own research project in form of a 5-minute pitch (short presentation with PowerPoint slides). The presented project does not need to be a CIMD project, but can be any project, the participant is working on.
