FlexMap3D for beginners

On October 15th 2019 the training on the topic "FlexMap3D for beginners" will take place for the first time at the Fraunhofer IZI-BB. The training courses are aiming at all groups of people who want to learn more about the technology. Starting with technical personnel who work with the device, through scientific employees who want to establish their own methods and applications on it, to companies who are considering establishing this technology. With the help of multiplexing, this method saves time and resources compared to conventional protein biochemical detection methods such as ELISA. The training takes place in small groups (max. 10 persons). In the breaks individual needs and questions of the participants can be discussed with the experts. The training is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. The theoretical part conveys the basic knowledge about the technique, the execution, the sample preparation and evaluation. In particular, the work with human serum samples will be discussed. In the practical part of the training, some cytokines in human serum will be detected with a commercial kit and important aspects of the handling of the device and the evaluation on the basis of the results will be carried out and discussed individually.
